That’s one thing I love about blogging, I can digitally store little
treasures like this without having to actually keep them. I may collect a lot of
things but I do have my limits. Keeping some of these things may
make me a bit of a hoarder and would definitely cramp up my apartment especially if collected over a long period of time.
Some of these things aren’t even necessarily visually appealing but they’re nice little reminders of the fun things I did. Concert tickets, a movie stub from a movie I had been wait for for years, photobooth photos, stickers from an abandoned building, pressed plants, brochures from all the places I stopped, pressed pennies and more.
2014 was amazing. I can only hope each year from here on out is even better!

My favorite scrapbooks are the ones that are filled with ugly receipts, scratch offs, tickets and weird brochure clippings. It takes a lot of work to save everything and put them into books but it's worth it. I love the scanner idea! Really cool.

I love this. I have a box full of things that remind me of my sweetheart (like a total 13 year old girl) and another box with just life stuff, anything that meant something to me at any given time. I don't know, it's comforting. Thanks for sharing.

I love keeping little scraps of paper and ticket stubs and the like! I have such a hard time parting with any of it. This was a fun post to read – so happy to hear 2014 was a great and exciting year for you. Here's to 2015 being ever better!

You are a pro at compositions. I think you made those scraps look great. I am also a collector at heart, yet I'm always trying to downsize. I always forget that scanning is such a good way to keep things, without actually having to keep things. Thanks for reminding me!
It's such a lovely idea to scan them. You're right, it stops us from cluttering our homes and you have a 'forever' copy of your memories. Hope 2015 brings more memorable experiences xx
Very awesome idea to make these little things last forever in a nicely arranged way. Last year I was also collecting lots of these smalls souvenirs and I thought about a lot of ways to make them last forever. I was thinking about sticking them into a book, but I think the idea of scanning them to make a nice collage is way better! 🙂

I was wondering, after all the years I've followed you here & on Flickr, how do you keep uncluttered? Or even, do you trade in your clothes or sell other stuff back to the thrift stores? Storage?
Are you strict with your clothes like some people… For ex, my sis-in-law only buys a pair of shoe if she donates another in its place. And, my bestie must do 50 burpees for any clothing she buys she doesn't need. If she can't have the will for it or she can't get her bf to buy it for her, it's not going in her closet.
I'm at a loss because I've too much stuff… Mostly Hello Kitty things & jewelry & shoes & so on so on =)

This is a really lovely idea. I tend to keep scrapbooks myself- mainly of imagery that interests me but i do find myself becoming a bit of a hoarder. The scanner idea would be awesome. I'd love to see you make a little zine out of your digital scrapbooks. Im pretty sure other people would be interested also
