NaturalAnnie’s candles are so fun.

These cocktail-inspired soaps from Soap Distillery sound great! I’m particularly interested in the one called ‘beer and cigarettes‘ (hops, tobacco and lavender! Gosh, that’s gotta be so good!)

Diggin Studio Nom’s work! She even has a DIY kit available if you’d prefer to make something for your wall.

Worthy and Badass has a wide variety of goods I think y’all will like! I’m particularly fond of her mirror sticker & monstera propagation station (which comes with a cutting of your choice!)

No Justice No Peace!

This planter by rkitekt is the cutest!

Blade + Bloom makes skin care balms, candles, scrubs, soaps and more.

Loving BobbiMadeThis’s earrings!

Hello Wildflowerrr has so many cute sticker designs!

Within three minutes of discovering Paige’s Candle Co I had one of her candles in my cart. I bought rum & tobacco but I REALLY want them all.

Love this junk food wrapping paper by Siyo Boutique!

Even more!

Etsy also has a Black-owned shop feature right now. Check it out here.

After you’re done clicking around here & checking out all these black-owned small businesses, please check out this link. It has up to date links to petitions, places to donate, and perhaps most importantly, resources to educate yourself. xoxo

Also, just gonna note that at the the time of publishing, these shops all still had stock left. If they’ve sold out, bookmark them and come back another day! This isn’t a one time deal. Make an effort to support black-owned businesses everyday!

I’m normally more into scented candles than decorative ones but these things are seriously awesome!

This pin is precious.

This dog planter is just absurdly cute.

Two of my favorite things – eyes + rainbows!

I have broken two pairs of sunglasses in the last week. I can’t decide if that’s a really good reason to buy these or a good reason not to buy them. Aren’t they so snazzy!?

These handmade lip balms come in so many amazing sounding flavors. Coffee! Root Beer!? Chai? Sign me up!

I literally never ever put food in bowls like this but gosh, these bowls with tiny houses! Too cute!

This beach towel!!

Very into these shirts by Residential Ghost.

  • A polka dot T-shirt with a crocodile in the pocket!
  • I can’t decide if I think these corgi butt bloomers are the best or the worst.
  • This vintage cat painting is so so so good!
  • I’ve linked to this bra a couple of times before but gosh, I still love it so much. Paired with some joggers it’s the sexiest cozy outfit ever.
  • This jumpsuit looks so comfy and breezy. Perfect for summer!

Last year I tried to make a little wildflower patc Last year I tried to make a little wildflower patch along our woods line. It didn’t do much. I got a handful of flowers but it was nothing like I imagined. I was thiiiiiis close to cleaning it all up this year and doing something different but I’ve been busy with other gardening projects. SO glad I didn’t because guess who is finally getting flowers!

I didn’t realize that a lot of perennials, when started from seed, will only produce foliage their first summer. 🙃

Do future you a favor, plant some seeds! 💐🐝✨
hello from my favorite place! ✨👋🏻💕 got hello from my favorite place! ✨👋🏻💕

got me some new overalls and a new gardening hat last week and I’m feeling 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.
Before I bought a house with property, I was so ex Before I bought a house with property, I was so excited grow my own flowers so I could have bouquets in the house all the time. Last year, I couldn’t bring myself to cut a single flower I grew because I was so proud of them where they were.

This is my first arrangement that includes my flowers I grew both from seed and from tiny plants I lovingly brought home last spring. I’m OBSESSED. 😭❤️

Super stoked to be partnering with @garden.safe ri Super stoked to be partnering with @garden.safe right now. Y’all know I love propagating my indoor plants, but I’ve also started exploring the world of propagating trees, shrubs and other outdoor plants. TakeRoot® Rooting Hormone helps promote the development of roots so you can easily multiply your plants! Right here I’ve got some cuttings from some of my favorite things in the yard including the plum tree, forsythia and a purple smoke bush. Can’t wait to grow my collection (pun intended!!)

Year two of my late mother’s irises growing (and Year two of my late mother’s irises growing (and blooming!!!) in my garden! ✨✨✨

Last year I transplanted these irises from my mom’s garden into mine. They bloomed and I was pleased, mostly just because they were my moms. ❤️ This year though? The blooms are so much larger and the flowers are much more plentiful! I’m officially obsessed and would now like to just fill this bed with irises! They’re so beautiful! 😍
now vs this time last year. ✨ This is our guest now vs this time last year. ✨ This is our guest room. I took the before photos while I was working on the closet in this room, expecting that I’d start on the rest of the room shortly after. Buuuut I didn’t because there 9 billion other projects around here. 🙃

Mid march I threw myself into refinishing this floor as a way to cope with stress. After I made that super freaking pretty, my dad and I used the router to make custom moulding. (Plz pinch and zoom on that in both before + after 💁🏼‍♀️) Then today I finished her off with fresh paint on the walls.

Still gotta add a bed, and decorate but woweeee sure feels good to have a fresh clean room.
still… uh… working on this friendship. 🙃 still… uh… working on this friendship. 🙃
my official “I’m working on the living room” my official “I’m working on the living room” announcement! 🙃✨

after my dog, Klaus, died I decided that throwing myself into some simple projects would keep my brain busy and help me deal. I redid our upstairs bathroom (go check out the reel!) and also decided to paint the living room. Just a fresh coat of paint. Quick and easy, ya know?

Welllllll, Before I could paint I decided to patch some cracks which if done properly means making them even bigger cracks so there was mud work. Then I was like dang, what about a couch? I need a new couch! But if I get a new couch I need the floor redone first!BASICALLY I “if you give a mouse a cookie”ed it!

So here’s a silly lil shot of me freshening up the ceiling before getting started on the walls and floor. ✨✨✨
Sad to say goodbye to the daffodils for the year! Sad to say goodbye to the daffodils for the year! 💛These are basically the last of the bunch.

Not trying to wish away time because I have lots of other cool plants growing but I’m already looking forward to seeing my wall of daffodils next year - bigger and stronger!
